Have you done indoor grilling? Let me introduce this name to you. They call it, the amazing Cuisinart grill Griddler.
Before we choose our path to be on plant-based diet, I’ve used Cuisinart grill griddler in some of our recipes.
For those who are afraid of grilling, time to grill that fear. Grilling is the easiest style of cooking. That’s probably your first cooking lesson when you were a kid.
Remember camping, picnic? Grilling marshmallows.
Now, I’m giving you tips on how to make your grilling more exciting using your indoor Cuisinart grill griddler.
Marinate and use olive oil in your veggies before grilling
Most of the restaurants use these 3 veggies when it comes to grilling – the eggplants, zucchinis and bell peppers. Why? These vegetables become more beautiful and attractive with the stripes of grilled marks on it.
For easy to remember marinade recipe, just use EQUAL cup parts for soy sauce and balsamic vinegar, then equal teaspoon parts for salt and pepper. Let the veggies soak on it for like half hour to absorb the marinade. Toss it in bowl with olive oil before using your Cuisinart grill.
The reason is to add moisture on veggies leaving it juicier upon grilling. When using indoor Cuisinart grill griddler, all you have to do is wait for the grill marks and that’s it. Your healthy dish is done.
Grilling steak with Cuisinart grill with secret ingredients
Every time I meet a new chef, I always asked this question that if they will compare themselves into food, what would that be… and most of their answer was steak.
With that question, I have the chance to ask what is their recipe on their steak. You’ll be surprise, it’s only just a very good quality of salt and pepper.
Trust me, it’s as simple as that. Just salt and pepper, and if you want to add some heat on it, add chili flakes or cayenne powder. I suggest try to get out of the bottled one and start learning to blend the spices.
I use probe sometimes if I really wanted to impress my wife. But in my work, we just rely to the power of touch.
Steak loins are expensive so don’t over cook, for it becomes harder and chewy. If you want to avoid that, I suggest that you use probe in cooking steak and check the internal temperature while grilling in your Cuisinart grill.
Grilling fish with Cuisinart grill griddler
Fish is expensive especially here in Canada. Every time I grill salmon in our Cuisinart grill griddler, I make sure that it will turn out beautiful.
The trick here is start grilling the fish flesh side down, it doesn’t have to be that long, a few minutes will do, like 2-3 minutes, enough to see the grill marks. Then finish the cooking process on the skin side.
If I am using pan, I still use the traditional cooking method taught by my mother. I cooked the fish first then after removing the cooked fish, I then put the veggies to pick up the flavors brought by the fish.
However, in Cuisinart grill griddler, I can cook them altogether leaving my asparagus here crispy, juicy and tasty.
So there you go, I hope you learn something new with this post and if you are interested in buying Cuisinart grill griddler and want to know more about its feature, I’ve written a separate article for that, Are you ready for Cuisinart® Griddler™?
